STUDENT REVIEWS

We continue to get good reviews with many student reaching their targets and progressing to university. Not everyone gets the grades they want so expectations have to be adjusted. Revies take place in the Spring and we discuss the whether students need to revise their expectations.

In the end the realisation of ones own ability matches the amount of time they dedicate to writing up assignments. Whether its for BIFM, BTEC or ABMA qualifications, the mantra is always the more time you put in to your study, the more you get out.

Many students find it almost impossible to concentrate at home with kids, friends, pets and parents being a distraction. There's also the fridge! This has to be overcome and a quiet place to study might sound boring but its the only way. Libraries and parks can offer reprieve from noisy weekends at home. Why not try headphones and play your favourite music while staying in the comfort of your own room. You can also come in to the college and sit at the back of class and get on with your work. At least you won't be alone in the struggle to get the work done.
